Covent Garden Directions

Getting to Covent Garden is easy by Tube, train or bus. The area is in Zone 1 and well-served by public transport.

  • Covent Garden – Piccadilly line (lift access only)
  • Leicester Square – Piccadilly & Northern lines (5 min walk)
  • Holborn – Central & Piccadilly lines (10 min walk)
  • Charing Cross – National Rail (5 min walk)

Tip: Covent Garden station has lifts only – at busy times, walk from Leicester Square instead.

The historic Covent Garden Market and Piazza shops are open daily, with street performers and markets throughout the week.

  • Mon–Sat: 10am – 8pm (some until 9pm)
  • Sunday: 12pm – 6pm
  • Apple Market: Daily (antiques on Mondays)
  • Jubilee Market: Daily from 10:30am

Opening times may vary on bank holidays and during festive periods.
